We just wrapped up an install on this project. It was 7 total doors including a dual swing door with a T-Astrigal to the primary bedroom. Total install completed in a little under 4 hours, which included needing to cut on-site the opening for the flush bolt on the passive dual swing door.
You might look at the pictures here, and wonder.... "What's all the fuss about". It's true, this upgrade didn't change the space much visually. This install was more function than fashion, and boy can you tell the difference in the overall aesthetic moving from a hollow builder door to one actually made of wood! Sometimes the problem that needs to be solved isn't for damage to doors, or to generate a new visual, and this was one of those jobs. This customer works from home like many of us now do, and recently added a new family member. He needed the sound dampening quality that solid wood doors provide.
We think the job came out great, and we're pretty sure that Harley the dog liked it too!
